Not for the faint of heart
I managed to get a pitcher of water and some glasses in the room, but that was about it. The bellman was nice, but he wasn't much help carrying our bags after 10am when he clocked out, so we did a lot of heavy lifting ourselves.
It was not cheap but still acceptable.

It was wonderful, beautiful and with a comfortable big bed. There were a private safe, an ironing set, and a work desk in the room.

Had very nice stay for the weekend before Our Lady of Guadalupe day. The standard single room was spotless and had a safe, iron/ironing board, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating and the location was excellent in the centre of Taxco...

The hotel itself is a showplace and the staff were helpful as I strolled just a few steps to the Zocalo and enjoyed the beautiful views at Borda Square nearby.

The building and the courtyard itself are absolutely charming traditional Mexican. Wonderful place to stay with very kind and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Will stay there again.
I didn't rate the connected restaurant Sotavento. A separate business that shares the same building. Breakfast there is fine though.

I had such high hopes for this place, but it just fell short. No AC left me sweating, while the lumpy pillows were agonizing. Honestly, where's my complimentary bottle of water or even a coffee maker? I almost considered a good review, but with these blatant oversights, i just couldn't.

Appreciated how beautiful and gorgeous the property was and its outstandingly accommodating staff at the reception desk. We booked standard queen room that was complete with comfy beds, great views as advertised. The marvellous and unbeatable location was very close to Silver Museum. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

The hotel boasts a fine colonial design that really captures the essence of old Mexico. Walking into the courtyard was like stepping back in time with its intricate details and charming ambiance. My room with two queen beds, was spacious and provided ample space to unwind. The standing fan was a nice touch, offering some white noise during the night. I loved how the staff made an effort to refresh the room while we were out during the day. The evenings were surprisingly quiet, awesome for peaceful rest. One downside was the lack of air conditioning was good, especially in the summer heat. I didn't try the restaurant, so I can't comment on the food. The hotel location is perfect for exploring Taxco, and the rooftop terrace offers amazing views!

The courtyard is charming and perfect for kids to run around, while we loved the rooftop views for some downtime. The breakfast at the nearby café was delicious, especially the pancakes!
My wife says that the lack of some charging outlets was inconvenient for our devices.

Charming building with fine terrace views, but no A/C made our stay uncomfortable during the heatwave.
